This Is Not a Government Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot pull criminal records, run official background checks, remove or correct a record, or accept expungement filings for anyone. For any of those, you need to reach the right government office directly.

The sheriff does not publish a separately named records division. Its official fallback is the voluntary Public Information Request form under the Texas Public Information Act. Call 903-843-2541 before mailing or visiting the Upshur County Sheriff, 405 N. Titus St., Gilmer, TX 75644. The listed lobby hours are weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and do not define jail intake, bond, or release hours.
