Why We Built This Site
Texas provides several forms of public criminal-record access, yet no single source contains every Upshur County event. The sheriff keeps jail and booking material and the county posts related material through its public-notices page. The clerks hold felony and misdemeanor files. Texas DPS explains repository access through its Crime Records information, while TDCJ handles state custody data and the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry remains a distinct public-safety system.
